Fred was born in Milford Haven in 1920. He married Gladys and they had one daughter, Freda. Fred was a sergent in the army and died in an unfortunate shooting accident on 15th February 1941 when we was just 21 and Gladys was pregnant with Freda. Gran brought Freda up until she was about 18 when she got married. Fred is buried in Milford Haven Cemetery with ‘Daddy’, who died two years before him and Gran, who died 36 years later. Because it is a war grave, the headstone only has Fred’s name on it.
